Never ever give up.

Lately, so many things happened in my life.
And all of it was a challenge for me to accept. They are difficult, yes, but eventually I managed to go through it,
and all the patience I had throughout the journey made me stand where am I today.

Also, I must say, my parents especially helped me a lot to walk through my path. If it's not them, then I don't know if I can walk through the path where I stand right now.

I will keep on holding to what my father told me once before my sports day at school: Never Ever Give Up.

Till then~

How to get gorgeous curly/wavy hair with minimal effort.

This is going to be a l'il vain post. LOL.

Okay, you can laugh all you can but..okay,leave it.
Let's get straight to the point.

I have been getting compliments on my hair. I dare to say this because I have been receiving them every now and then, and the most convincing compliment is from the saloon lady.
You and I know that saloon lady knows every thing about hair styles, right?

Okay, if you want, you can have a look at my side bar, titled Beautiful Black to have a look at my curls.

I actually curled my hair long, long time ago like waaayyy before my graduation. By the way, my graduation was on the month of October,2011. And the photo was snapped on December 2011.
So,by right, the curls ought to loosen themselves out,no?

Anyway, my routine on how I maintain my hair is that, I make sure I use a good hair conditioner everytime I shampoo my hair. I stick to that regime to get soft and manageable curls. Trust me,it works.

Next, I make sure that my hair is not tangled. After my hair washes, I finger-comb them gently to remove all the unwanted tangles. Only then do I apply hair crème.

Speaking of hair crème, I suggest using curling crème or curling lotion to get the soft, bouncy curls instead of curling mousse as mousse gives you the stiff curls.Stiff curls look defined and pretty, yes, but I prefer natural looking curl.

I refrain myself from combing/brushing my hair after I applied hair crème to avoid 'big',bushy hair.

To get the most out of my naturally wavy + previously permed hair, I clip/pull my hair up into a loose bun when my hair is about 95% wet. Sometimes,I leave them overnight.
The result will be natural-looking curls which are defined and all bouncy.
However, I will never pull my hair up when they are wet,as puling your hair up when they are wet can get you into headaches and colds.

Sometimes, I do use Elips Hair Capsule to add to my hair care.

That is my hair regime.

Now, just yesterday I had my hair trimmed at the saloon, layered it with a fringe.
I adore this style,as I never really had a fringe.

I will keep on following my hair regime, as I call it and I hope I'll like this style till I find a better one :)

P/S: No photos, sorry ;)

You sow, you earn.

A simple phrase. You sow, you earn. You want respect, you respect people first.
Dont expect people to respect you for your irrespectful behavior.
Act like an adult and a mother to 3 grown up kids, can you?

And owh, must I say that please keep your evil eye and annoying jealousness with you?

Its pathetic to know that I share the same birthday with you. I feel so shameful.

Bear the consequences, woman, for not only me, even your so called 'best friend' and your very own puppy knows you for your wonderful trait.

God bless.

Sunday 20 May 2012

after six months and finally!

I went over to Penang for an interview or discussion more likely.
I stayed over with BFF Dylla and she was a great great help to me!

Though I got myself fever on the day I had that interview/discussion, things were good and everything went on smoothly.

Though it was only a one-day-last-minute-trip, everything was fine.

And owh, not to forget, thanks for helping me to choose my shoe at the very last minute! ;)

Here's a link to her blog post : Dylla Fadzil

Love you Dylla!

A prayers answered.

Things are finally getting better I guess.
I am now waiting for the official letter/e-mail before I announce it.

Nevertheless, I see this as a stepping stone for me to emerge in life, for me to slap those who badmouths me and my family, for me to improve my life status and hence for me to set the standard higher than others to out-beat me.

After all, this is the fruit of my endless prayers, patience and effort.

People say, opportunity does not knock twice on your door. This time, a GOLDEN opportunity knocked on my door, without me realizing the arrival,so I grabbed it and will go on with it.

This might be what am I destined to do. The best for me, my family and my future.

The best, however is yet to come for me and I am sure to get it no matter what!

The characteristic me.

I really loathe it when people advise me for something I am not.

Okay fine. Here/s the story.
I am now working (read: temporarily) in a hotel owned by my dad's close friend.
Let's call him Uncle K okay? Uncle K knows that I am looking for a job for experience sake, so he told me to work with him.
More likely,to help him out to take care/observe the hotel. Since he's a close family friend, I said okay to that offer. After all, it's always fun to learn new things and to work in a new environment. Uncle K even asked me to call him Peripa a.k.a Big Uncle in Tamil ( father's elder brother).
As so, I didn't want to be calculative in my pay whatsoever. I just accepted what they gave me. It was a decent pay for a very relaxing job.

Eventually, he had big plans for me. As in, he will be opening a new branch soon in Sungai Besi, and it seems, he wants me to run the place for him! I was overwhelmed when I got to know that and hence, I am willing to learn all out to know how to manage a hotel. It is certainly a BIG responsibility and I want him to know that he can count on me.

BUT.

See,there is always a but.

But, we have our consultant here, whose job is to help us to boost our sales, especially through on-line marketing engines. Not only that, he is to guide us in our jobs.
Indeed,he is doing his job. He is so generous that he OVERDO it.
He claimed to work in a 5-star hotel before this. Well, I respect that very much. He must be very well-experienced now that he is our consultant. He even owns his own company, which made me ponder why did he come and work in this hotel first of all?
It seems, owning a hotel is his dream and he will pursue it no matter what.

I am fine with all that.
The part which I am NOT FINE is when he tried to advice or so called motivate me, as he claims himself to be a speaker. Out of nowhere, he will suddenly tell about ATTITUDE, and RESPECTING elders and stuff.
I know I don't have attitude problem, due to my past records in my previous workplace which was excellent. You can ask my bosses if you want. And respecting elders. What the hell?! I respect them very much. We have two elderly man working here, and I respect them the way how I respect my own grandparents.

Not only that,he told me that I am not cheerful enough. He wants me to be bubbly it seems. Hello,Mr D (lets name him as such) you can always ask my friends from my primary, secondary, matriculation and university friends. You can also ask my old workmates. They will also say that I am friendly and bubbly enough. Are you blind or just plain dumb??

He and only HE is the only reason why I wanted to quit this job. Previously, when I newly joined this job, I was very much excited about changing my career path and to learn something new. But now, I just don't want to think about it. Okay, maybe not just now. Not when he is around.

Besides that, he always say that for who he is,he shouldn't be here with us in the hotel. He should have been elsewhere. He even say that he would not admit himself to be an Indian. He'd rather be born in the States. This,I feel is too much. Don't you?

Duhh!

The next time he says anything, I am afraid that I will scold him off or just blast off.

Huh. Let's see how things goes.

This is definitely an experience for me,dealing with different characters.

Heart you, Fatin.

And now, she's organizing a give-away. I don't know how many give-aways she had organized before this, but nevertheless, I am now joining her give-away.

Atychiphobia

_Atychiphobia_

That is what I am facing now.
The offer is just awesome and can safely be said that it is one of my dreams.
Things look promising but I never want to put my hopes sky-high, after all what I went through. Securing it will be a turning point and will lead me to many new things.
I'll keep my fingers crossed, and I hope you will too.

Piece of note.

Sometimes I wonder, is it a nuisance or something if I am being friendly?
Or is it a sin to be friendly?
